The Sunday School movement characterises the modern Church. This movement has evolved from an outreach to unbelieving children, in surrounding society, into separating the family for corporate worship. If a child does not understand, it is better for him/her to be occupied while dad and mum receive the sermon download distraction free. As a result an explosion of children and youth ministries has occurred across Christendom. These types of ministries age segregate the body of Christ. We must ask the question - does this structure/form follow the pattern of Scripture?
